On 18 October 2023, the Prosecutor-General visited the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg.
On this occasion, he had a discussion with the President Koen Lenaerts, the French Judge Jean-Claude Bonichot and the French Advocate-general Jean Richard de la Tour.
Together, they notaly mentionned the functioning of the Court of Justice and the General Court, as well as the role of the advocate-general in the proceedings.
They also reviewed the major evolutions of the Court of Justice of the European Union’s case law.
The Prosecutor-General also had a meeting with the French legal secretaries of the Advocate-general’s office, as well as a delegation of French magistrates in continuous training at the Court.
